In February, our firm attended the Kingdom Advisor’s conference in Orlando, Florida with over a 1000 other financial advisors. We recharged while learning about values-based investment vehicles, developing socially-conscious portfolios, charitable giving strategies, tax strategies and principles for passing down an inheritance, and sound money stewardship. Among the presenters giving us an 2022 economic update were Finny Kuruvilla, MD, Ph.D., fund manager for Eventide , Bob Dole, former investment officer at BlackRock, now managing a socially responsible fund at Crossmark Global Investments, and David Spika, fund manager at GuideStone Financial Resources. We also heard from leadership and industry experts like John Maxwell and Michael Kitces.
