When considering financial planning, one might envision spreadsheets and budget meetings. However, at Joss Brown Wealth Advisors, we strive to incorporate an element of competition into our work life. One of our preferred methods of doing so is participating in sponsored golf tournaments as a team.
The Joss Brown team has played in several sponsored golf tournaments in the last couple of years. They have been for alma maters like Regent University and Walsingham Academy, as well as for local non-profits like the Junior League of Hampton Roads. Michelle has worked hard as a volunteer at these golf outings by helping set up, check-in, and make all the guests feel welcome. Dan, Deven, and Phillip enjoyed playing in the scrambles as golfers as well as the time spent with other members of the Hampton Roads region at large.
In addition to the competition, these events foster connections within our community. We meet fellow sponsors, local businesses, and residents who share our passion for making a difference. It’s a fantastic way to network while showcasing our commitment to giving back.
As we navigate the greens, we’re also thinking about how our sponsorships impact local students. Many of our team members are proud alumni who want to support future generations. By contributing to scholarships and community programs, we’re investing in the potential of young minds.
